Organizational Chart of the Administrative Division of the Washington County Government
Washington County Board of Supervisors -- The Board of Supervisors oversees the following two appointed Offices:
Office of County Administrator -- This Office consists of the County Administrator and an Administrative Supervisor. This Office oversees 10 County departments (see below).
Office of County Attorney -- This Office consists of the County Attorney and a Legal Assistant. This Office provides legal advice to the Board of Supervisors, County Administrator and Administrative Division department heads.
The Office of County Administrator oversees the following County departments constituting the Administrative Division of the County government:
County Department of Accounting -- This department consists of the Accounting Manager (department head), the Accounting & Purchasing Supervisor, and the Accounting Assistant & Personnel Assistant.
County Department of Building Inspection -- This department consists of the County Building Official (department head), County Building Inspectors, and Building Assistant.
County Department of Economic & Community Development -- This department consists of the Assistant County Administrator (department head), and an Administrative Assistant.
County Department of Emergency Services -- This department consists of the Emergency Services Coordinator (department head).
County Department of Engineering Services -- This department consists of the County Engineer (department head).
County Department of General Services -- This department consists of the General Services Manager (department head), the General Services Supervisor, General Services Maintenance Technicians, and General Services Custodial Technicians.
County Department of Information Systems (IS) -- This department consists of the Information Systems Manager (department head), an IS Specialist, an IS Technician, and a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist.
County Department of Recreation -- This department consists of the Recreation Manager (department head).
County Department of Solid Waste -- This department consists of the Solid Waste Manager (department head), Solid Waste Supervisor, Solid Waste Assistant, Solid Waste Drivers / Operators, and Convenience Station Attendants.
County Department of Zoning Administration -- This department consists of the County Zoning & Subdivision Official (department head), and Zoning Assistant.
